About PAYNTR
Our Cricketing Heritage
PAYNTR™ was created by ex-professional cricketer David Edward Paynter and the great-grandson of England Ashes Legend Eddie Paynter. Cricket is steeped in the family heritage.
Eddie Paynter, Dave’s great-grandad was pivotal in England regaining the infamous 1932/33 “Bodyline” Ashes Series.
Eddie helped to turn the series on its head, guiding England to victory, despite a severe bout of tonsillitis. In the fourth test at The Gabba, with England struggling in the 1st innings, he discharged himself from hospital, took a few aspirins, washed down with a glass of champagne and hit 83 not out. In the 2nd innings, Eddie hit the winning runs, helping England retain the Ashes and was subsequently the first person to win a test and Ashes series by hitting a six.
To this day, Eddie has the 2nd highest all-time highest test batting average for an Englishman (59.23), 7th highest in the world. He averaged 84.42 against Australia, a feat which no other Englishman has replicated with a 500-run cut-off.
The Story Behind PAYNTR
Frustrated by the current state of cricket footwear, Dave set out on a mission to create a running-style shoe built to withstand the stresses of cricket, with comfort and style in mind, something he felt was not currently being delivered in the current market.

After working on it for 18 months, many trips back and forth to China, funded with his own life savings, Dave’s hard work and true Yorkshire grit came to fruition.
Order FAQs
How can I place an order?
Ordering through payntr.com is a simple process.
- Navigate our website through our navigation bar or search function to find the cricket shoes you would like to purchase.
- Once you are on the product page, select which size you would like to purchase (please check our size guide to ensure you order the right size) and then click "Add to Cart" or "Buy with ShopPay".
- You can then either go straight to the checkout or add further products to your basket.
- Add any discount code or gift card number and then choose one of our express checkout options or fill out your delivery and payment details before clicking "Review Order"
- Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive an email to confirm your order has been received.
If you have any issues or questions regarding ordering, please contact our customer service team at info@payntr.com who will be able to assist you.
What payment methods can I use?
We have a number of payment options available at our checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Shop Pay.
We also accept payment through PayPal and Klarna.
Can I change/cancel my order?
We will always try to accommodate any changes or cancellations you would like to make to your order before it has been dispatched.
If you would like to make a change or cancel your order, please email our customer service team at info@payntr.com as soon as possible and we will try our best to help.
Unfortunately, if your order has always been dispatched, we are unable to recall it and your order will need to be returned to us in line with our returns policy.
How long will my order take to be dispatched?
We currently aim to send out all orders within the UK within 2-4 working days.
Unfortunately, we cannot currently guarantee a next day delivery service.
We advise you to check our delivery page for our current delivery options.
How can I track my PAYNTR order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from us to let you know your order is on its way along with your tracking link and tracking number.
How can I return my order?

Cricket Shoes FAQs
Which cricket shoes can I wear for indoor cricket/training?
Our PAYNTR V Pimples have been designed with a rubber pimple outsole which makes them perfect for use on hard and indoor surfaces.
What size cricket shoe should I purchase?
Due to the athletic shoe design, the PAYNTR V is a narrow fitting shoe. Because of this, we recommend purchasing the next size up that you normally are.
Our XPF-P6 Bowling Spike runs true to size.

As a fast bowler, which cricket shoe should I purchase?
If you are a fast bowler, we would recommend our XPF-P6 Bowling Spike. This cricket spike has been designed specifically with fast bowlers in mind, providing superior fit and feel to you allow to focus fully on your delivery.
Can I customise/personalise my cricket shoes?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer the ability to customise or personalise your PAYNTR cricket shoes purchased at payntr.com.
